Congrats Allan,

Not have you only made another "all in" market top call, but you have led your sheep into buying a leveraged ETF with severe structural decay problems, making it an inferior vehicle for a "hold".

Steve?

Are you calling Allan's hold on this stock not sound?

Liam

steve, these are very short term trades; average length is 1.3 days rendering the structural inefficiencies you allude to virtually meaningless. in addition, my readers are some of the most motivated, independent and decent folks I've ever run across in the 20 years or so that i have been participating in public stock forums. why don't you try to be constructive instead of condescending and divisive in your comments? disagreement with my methods doesn't have to be inconsistent with civility.

What is your stop loss number for tomorrow and what is your exit/gain number/objective -- TZA

gh: it's a dynamic system and all of those numbers are constantly in flux; on the right axis of the charts there are two highlighted numbers, the first is the most current price and the second, the number highlighted in navy, is the trailing stop/reverse.

Allan - Congratulations, this is a very interesting system. I've been doing some (so far minimal) work looking at linear regression slopes. In the future I'd like to integrate that with this methodology.

As for those who would leave comments with negativity towards Allan and his audience - nothing wrong with disagreeing - but until you can offer a better solution (let's see YOUR charts, YOUR market calls, etc) you're only demonstrating an incredible amount of self-disrespect and coming across as a charlatan.

Thanks again Allan. I really appreciate your generosity of spirit and willingness to help us learn from you. I, for one, have much to learn.

Allan - this is excellent.

I've also looked at the 5 min charts and TZA seems to have some nice with the trend narrow range bar breakouts that make for nice trades. I am looking back to see how robust it is - course it complicates the trade itself with ATR alone.

Do you still use the triangles with this at all?

Eric

Looking forward to your post on this after the market opens tomorrow. It should be interesting. I'm still just learning, level zero, that's my level.

Eric: I am using only one trigger: ATR (7, 1.5)
