NVAX

Gary C Evans, a Director of Novavax, made an open market purchase of 25,000 shares yesterday. This Director bought a boatload of shares last fall just before and while the stock ran from $1.50's to over $8.00. He has not sold a single share and is now buying again. What does he know?

I haven't used insider trading information as it was laborious to obtain it. I am curious of your intrepretation of the other two directors actions that sold a combined worth of $20,000,000.00 stock around 3/10 at $5.42 ?

Beth, I don't pay much attention to insider selling, as there are a myriad of reasons why an insider might sell stock, most of which are unrelated to stock's short-medium-long term prospects. On the other hand, there is a single, dominant reason why an insider buys and is because the insider buying thinks the stock is positioned to go up in price. I know there are exceptions to those two observations, but generally they are an accurate representation of reality. Insider buys are the single best compass I've ever seen for stock price direction. There are nuances, such as who is buying and how much they are buying, but it doesn't take long to catch on to what's important and what's not. I emphasize insider buying here because its the best advice I can give, short of revealing my proprietary stuff. In fact some of my insider analysis is/was proprietary, but I posted it anyway. What a guy.

Allan, thank you for sharing all of your ideas, strength's and weaknesses with us. I wanted to hear your opinon on PTSC. It is down over 15% today, and hasn't been faring well over these past few weeks. I know the company is still waiting on its court case ruling in Texas, which is known for its speedy rulings. I got in at 1.60, then doubled up at 1.20. Any advice? Where do you think this little gem of a company is headed?

My guess is PTSC as well as NNVC are suffering from tax related selling; hell, I sold some of my NNVC to cover my tax bill for last year and if I did it, others may very well be doing it too.

Also, accroding to the TaylorTrends market timing studies (see blog, "Paradigm"), we are approaching a Buy signal for the general market in the next few weeks. My hope is this next leg up will bring a lot of our stocks out of the doldrums.

Allan, do you know what Taylor means by referring to.."gravitional force at the human level"?? Is he talking about demand forces??

The short answer is, Yes, sort of...as gravatational forces fluctuate, so do huamn emotions and as the latter fluctuates, so does investors appetite for risk, i.e buying stocks.

The long answer is to read Paradigm which answers a lot of basic questions....but at the cost of raising others, but then having read the book, you will have both reason and credibility to contact the author, who I have found to be readily assessible and most helpful with my inquiries. In other words, here's a guy who is clearly making money in the markets based on his "system" and is willing to share his methods if you meet him half-way, i.e familiarize yourself with his work.
