Hollowing out my heart

I know this appears somewhere down below;
once my best friend,
now a closed door:

These Days

Allan,

Couldn't help but think of the words to this song, "It isn't wise to need someone, like I depended on you." The song isn't exactly a cheerful one, to say the least, but it reveals the vulnerability of each of our hearts. And paradoxically we know we are very much alive when our heart aches.

Sometimes the price of love is disappointment and an aching feeling.....but you know by now that love is worth the effort. And love always remains in some fashion, even though circumstances sometimes might mock that assertion. Let your memory take you to places where love carried you. It will carry you again.....and again....and again.

I was glad to see that Gonzaga reinstated those two basketball players. Take care of yourself.
