Can You Hear Me Now?

PTSC = $1.09

First recommended here (via my friend Roger Austin) at $0.28 on February 14th. That's a gain of 290% in two weeks. Bragging?

I'm not posting here to brag. (OK, yes I am.) But I have another reason. I'm holding all my PTSC shares, tempting as it is to take some off the table here. Why?

Here's the press release that today's 30% rise in share price can be attributed to:

Fujitsu Purchases License to Intellectual Property Protected by Moore Microprocessor Patent™ Portfolio
Fujitsu joins expanding roster of global giants, including Hewlett-Packard and Casio Computer, to secure licensing rights to ubiquitous MMP Portfolio technologies

Remember, PTSC said it had sent out 150 notices of patent infringement. Casio's license made it 149, now Fujitsu makes it 148. I don't expect PTSC to pop 30% everytime they announce a new license agreement,(OK, yes I do), but if this is just the beginning, I don't want to prematurely exit the stock, or any part of my position.

Rolling the dice on this one.

These are the days on the journey where we just enjoy the blessings of newfound treasure:

"There's a place for us
Somewhere a place for us
Peace and quiet and open air
Wait for us
Somewhere

There's a time for us
Some day a time for us
Time together
With time to spare
Time to learn
Time to care
Someday

Somewhere
We'll find a new way of living

We'll find a way of forgiving
Somewhere

There's a place for us
A time and place for us
Hold my hand
And we're halfway there
Hold my hand
And I'll take you there
Somehow
Someday
Somewhere"

Roger,

West SIde Story, Romeo & Juliet; seems to me there was something less then a happy ending there.

PS: Thanks for your gift of PTSC, from all of us.

Blake, you raise a good point, but with the stock on fire, I've refrained from burdening myself with looking at the legal issues, relying solely on stock price to answer any questions related thereto.

A,

Even though I have followed this company for six years I have no more insight than what is available to anyone at a computer terminal. Is this a great country, or what?

I borrowed the lyrics from Westside Story...but the ending is not yet written :-)

I just hope that the PTSC stock chart doesn't look like a steeple in a couple of weeks. The PE is getting stretched here.

Personally I am hoping for a floor of a buck and a NASDAQ listing.....and then a nice slow continuation of the meltup. I'm pleasantly surprised that there has not been a bit of a sell off....just the expected volatility.

The wild card is that more news could come very rapidly...but the details of actual licensing fees are not being reported. So the market is kinda guessing how much actual royalty and licensing revenue is in the pipeline. Early licensees are getting a discount. It's hard to tell what's built into the stock price. This stock is still a sleeper and off the radar screen.

It helps that there seems to be a rising tide lifting a lot of boats.

Nice to see green all over the screen today.

A - Re: NVAX

Cramer issued a triple Sell on his Mad Money show for NVAX. I am long in NVAX and would think this might be an opportunity to pick up some more shares if he actually has a negative impact. However, there was not much positive momentum after the earnings call and what could be the short term drivers for this stock to get it back to its highs.

Any thoughts?

konrad, Cramer knows less about NVAX then anyone reading by blogs on NVAX. Bird flu is going to be in the news every day now, as are the rallies in bird flu stocks.

Own XSNX from 1.42, almost wrote it up for a Blog, but it ran up before I could get it together and post. Still doing some research, may still write it up if I think the potential is there for it to provide a decent pop for us.
