GNBT is on fire, up 50% since my original post recommending it after insider buying on March 3rd. Check out the spate of positive news items that followed that insider purchase, all propelling the stock higher:

How long will you hold this Allan? My broker's telling me to take my big gains. I don't know about that though.

I have no intention of selling my core position any time soon. I did buy 2000 shares today after publishing my blog, at 3.58, sold at an average price of 4.08, just for a daytrade.

Alan,
Once again great call!
I bought AVAN today at 2.16 after seeing a good runup..
Lets see how this works for me.
Thanks for sharing!!
Sunny
Allan,
Question for you. I saw a very strong rally in the last hald an hour in AVAN.
I responded by selling into the rally.
Should I have held on ?
Thanks,
Sunny.

Ha!
Sunny.
Alan and others, I'm open to another broker who has acceptable commissions for trading penny stocks and PKs. I've seen Allan using interactive broker (IB) but they don't trade NNVC.PK (I don't believe) and they aren't cheap enough for penny's. Any suggestions?
tnx, curt
Is manipulation more of a problem with BB's and PK's? I offered the ask twice in succession this week on NNVC only to find the ask moved up each time. Was this just unfortunate timing?
I don't think you can trust the posted bid/ask spreads on BB and PK's like you can on Nasdaq. I always go a few pennies higher or lower then what is posted if I really want in or out. The biggest crooks of course are the ASE and to some extent the NYSE.
