Droplets

I found this link over on David Gordon's blog and it touched me enough to come out of hiding and blog again. It's called "Droplets," a song by Colbie Caillet & Jason Reeves. Just click to listen.

I'm leaving you
I'm not sure if that's what I should do
It hurts so bad
I'm wanting you but cant go back
Trying to find, to find
That all elusive piece of mind
Stuck here somehow
Shrouded beneath my fear
And now I don't need it

Cuz I'm walkin down this road alone and figured all I'm thinking bout is you, is you my love
And my head is in a cloud of rain and the world it seems so far away and i'm just waiting for
The droplets, droplets

You left a mark
I wear it proudly on my chest
Above my heart Above my heart
To Remind me that I feel the best
When I'm with you When I'm with you
To me everything is effortless
You know its true
My eyes are painted with regret and I don't need it

Cuz I'm walkin down this road alone and figured all I'm thinking bout is you, is you my love
And my head is in a cloud of rain and the world it seems so far away and I'm just waiting to fall and sink into your tears

You are like the raindrops, the raindrops falling down on me
You left a mark (you left a mark)
She left a mark (he left)
She left (he left)
And I don't (I dont)
Need it. (Need it)

Hey Allan,

Since when do real men wear their heart on their sleeve? Time to buck up, suck it in, walk tall and proud. No matter how much it hurts never let it show. Being in love is no different than a game of poker. It is all about perception, confidence and some good fortune. Reality is for the losers, the desperados. That's not you. After all we are the stronger sex. Last time I checked that's what the other (weaker) sex liked about us. Allan, really hate to rag on you like this, but gee wiz mate, you're our hero. We need you back up on top of your game, like right now. Immediately, if not sooner. Warmest regards from NYC, Joe

Joe,

Thanks, I needed that.

Expect some payback soon on this Blog, i.e. some excellent picks to put dollars in our accounts.

A,

Sensitivity is both a blessing and a curse. Thanks for sharing your heart with all its aches and ecstasies. Love endures even when we leave footprints in the ashes of our dreams. And as Leonard Cohen sings, "There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in."

Sometimes its hard to find a chair in a dark room, but light comes in the morning and with it a new song.

But I know that cliches and metaphors don't alleviate pain, so I will retreat into speechlessness and keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Roger,

I regret not making it over to see you, or more importantly, for you to see us during our magical times. Thanks for your thoughts and caring, all through our journey.
