CPHD

CPHD was hit with multiple I-buys yesterday. It opened today at 7.38 and has been as high as 7.80. It was available even lower yesterday. What do to? From Open to High today was 5.6%. Returns were better if you got in yesterday. What to do? What's your time frame? Daytrader, you're out with a nice gain of at least 3-4%, waiting for your next message from Sally. Position trader, CPHD was a $10 stock in June. Do these insiders think it's going to revist those levels? My guess is that they didn't buy CPHD for a 3-4% pop.

when a day trade goes against you,at what point do you cut your losses?

I use a strict $100 stop loss, no matter what size my trade. The logic is that these trades should be profitable form the start and if they are not, something is wrong. I exit the positon on the stop and take another look at the trade. Sometimes, I'll go back in, with another $100 stop, and sometimes I lick my wounds and move on.

Hi A:

GEHL hit on the I-buy screen today. I pulled up the I-buy history and say a lot of I-buy activity. But I also saw a lot of option exercise and then option sales.

Can anyone tell me what these option sales represent? Do these have significance like a market sale or indicative of something else?

By the way, this company is located near me and the Chairman/CEO is an aquaintance. His son plays hockey with my son. When we have talked business recently, he has been quite optimistic, although he doesn't pass on insider secrets.

I passed, only because it's a Bulletin Board stock.

Thanks for Sally Allan. What a supercool tool. I'd love to learn more about how you build it...just to get a better idea about the world of web programming, the toolspace and perhaps begin to tinker in that world myself.

Cheers!
