Bird Flu Update

This piece of news from Monday has investment ramifications written all over it:

New strain of bird flu found in China

Now read this from a couple of weeks ago:

Governments still dithering on bird flu
A third of countries haven't pinned down vaccine plans, study finds

It was about nine months ago when we had a bona fide run on bird flu stocks. From the most speculative penny stocks (NNVC) to blue chip pharmaceuticals (SNY) and everything in-between, profits were fast and furious. Last March I posted this list of potential bird flu plays. For playing the sector going into flu season, any combination thereof would be a good start and for what its worth, the list still represents a compilation of my favorite bird flu stock plays, starting with NVAX and NNVC, which one of you pointed out in a comment under my previous blog.

I prefer to be a bit more optimistic and buy Alcor Cryogenic Freezing.

You guys are comical with this NNVC thing. It is a scam. The stock is going to zero. Sell it while there is still a bid side. It is a lot easier than going through the process of declaring a stock worthless with your broker.

Is that you maddy? Is bitter getting caught lying and banned from RB?

Allan,

What's up with this NNVC thing ... still straight down. Do you still hold/own/buy more? Any new info?

Holly, I have to admit that my patience is wearing thin as well on NNVC's management...they promised an SEC filing over a year ago and still no action...having been one for so many years, I know that attorneys can be blamed for a lot of delays, but this is already well beyond the blame game. NNVC's credibility is on the line here, I jope they are aware of it.

NNVC released a statement today, their stock should be performing better than it is now, they are at a loss as to why it does not climb as much.

Also, a bird flu expert has been nominated to head the WHO:

At a loss, huh? How about no revenues, no product, no potential product, and no credibility. As year end tax loss selling accelerates NNVC will very politely head to $0.00.
