Three I-Buys of Note

Three after-hours I-Buys from last night (Tuesday):

IMCL - Carl Icahn bought $1.8M, adding to his 10% stake; what does he know?

NL - Harold Simmons bought $429K, adding to his 10% stake; what does he know?

VPHM - A Director bought $96K and stock is down over 50% in past three months, again, what does he know?

    Ron, that's the plan, subject to change at any moment. From my experience with I-Buys, these three, especailly NL and IMCL, will easily outperform the S&P over the coming months. But I don't like to just outperform the S&P, I like to decimate it.

    I didn't receive the Sallyinsider e-mail about IMCL !!! Is there some problem with the software ? Does it occasionally not send some ?

    Since IMCL was not an Officer or Director, but a 10% owner, Sally filtered it out. I saw it this morning and since the 10% owner was Icahn, considered it worth playing.

    Hi A:

    What do you think of KEYW as a trade today.

    1st Qtr reported revenue doubled, profits up, order backlog up, working capital up. Never-the-less The Street is still disappointed, taking the tape down 10+% today. Poised to fill gap from 1/18/06.

    I think this is an over reaction and have an order in at $18.25, just above bottom of gap.

    Any interest?

    Hi A:

    I got filled on my KEYW order at $18.25. It filled the gap from 1/18/06 before moving back up. KEYW is the only green in a sea of red today. I am up 50 cents a share now, but plan to hold for a return to the previous trend line at $20ish.

    Any opinion on DSCO? I bought at $2.84 earlier in the week, sitting on a small loss. Are you selling, buying or holding at this point? Are you sill hopefull on DSCO or are you cutting losses?
