John, For what it's worth my atr system had a short on the INDU on 9-4-87 at the close and kept short thru the crash. I am guessing Allan's system would also have been short. The key is to have the discipline to take all the signals and accept the loses when the market is consolidating.
So, are you still using BWT for some trades/accounts or are you only using ATR Trailing Stops now?
